Raising the Next Generation
I am so thankful to be part of a denomination that preaches the power of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. I feel such an honor to witness the accomplishment of Joel’s prophecy: “In the last days, God said, I will pour out my spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy…In those days I will pour out my spirit upon all my servants, men, and women alike, and they will prophesy…And everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved”. (Acts 2:17,18,21)
Sharing the power of the Holy Spirit with our children is not an option; it is our responsibility. Otherwise, how can we multiply ourselves and grow as a Pentecostal movement? How can our children live a life of power and boldness in the blessings of God? How will we empower the next generation so that they will reach out to their generation and impact their schools and communities? Imagine how the world would change when the Holy Spirit shows up!
